Must be 3 years since the television show aired in Denmark. Since then, the country has acquired the worst name in the internet gambling world. The show was a "how to" on the ins and outs of circumventing bonus rules and, basically, trying to get money out of a Sportsbook for nothing.
Now lets take a look at this. The players get money out of a book for nothing. Anyone wonder how long that can go on? No risk, nothing, just happily pilfering their merry way. Probably won`t last long.
Even though some watchdogs will help the bonus manipulators take their case public, most have taken a "we are not here to help you guys rob books" attitude. Recently Royal was run through the ringer by SBR, an affiliate website that is only paid via losses of players he sends to a sportsbook, suggesting that they do not pay customers. The facts are, the person who got slow paid was, you guessed it, a Danish bonus manipulator. Somehow (we can only speculate how), this player has been allowed to use SBR to apply public pressure to the company to pay them and insinuate that what Royal was doing is wrong. Royal did nothing wrong. The player asked for money to be put in a bank account of one of his other Danish team members and Royal refused, justifiably so.
We believe the days of the cyber exortion via watchdog portals for the bonus players are rapidly coming to an end. MajorWager, for instance, will have nothing to do with a bonus whore or helping them get any restitution. In fact MajorWager will go one step forward and compile a list of known names in business and make it available for the Sportsbook cross check.
Throwing out the baby with the bath water may be the only solution to the Danish problem. Unfortunately, we would strongly suggest all books block out any IP from Denmark.
