Minnesota has won seven in a row and 13 of 14. The Timberwolves, who have won a club-record 17 in a row at home, are opening a five-game road trip that includes matchups with the Sacramento Kings, Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

Washington won three of four last week to move within one game of .500.
