LOOKING AHEAD

Tuesday, March 18 -- Cleveland at Dallas (8:30 p.m. EST). The NBA`s top team will host the leagues worst as the Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Dallas Mavericks. The Cavaliers are 3-29 on the road and the Mavericks are 27-6 at home.

Wednesday, March 19 -- Boston at Indiana (7 p.m. EST). The Pacers, who have lost 13 of 15, host Paul Pierce and the Celtics. LOOKING BACK

FRIDAY

The San Antonio Spurs have won 18 of their last 20 games after beating the L.A. Clippers 107-96.

The L.A. Lakers beat the T-Wolves 106-99. It was Minnesota`s second straight loss at home after a 17-game winning streak at Target Center.

Chicago is 3-32 on the road, the worst record in the NBA, following a 121-91 loss in Houston.

Washington is 9-21 away from home after losing 90-80 in Detroit. The Wizards play 11 of its final 17 games on the road. Washington, currently one-half game ahead of Milwaukee for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

SATURDAY

Golden State ended a 14-game losing streak against Seattle with a 94-88 win.

SUNDAY

San Antonio won its sixth in a row with a 108-97 over Chicago.

Philadelphia`s 92-87 victory over New Jersey was its 14th in 16 games since the All-Star break. The Sixers are a half-game behind the Nets for the Atlantic Division lead.

Houston stretched its winning streak to six with a victory over Phoenix.

With a 124-92 victory over Atlanta, Memphis has won six straight games -- the longest winning streak in franchise history. It was the Grizzlies` 24th win of the season, another franchise high.

Cleveland snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 122-95 victory over Utah.

With a 108-97 win over Chicago, San Antonio is 11-0 at home against Eastern Conference teams, while the Bulls are 0-12 on the road against Western Conference opponents. MONDAY

Indiana has lost 13 of its last 15, after a 95-88 loss to Portland.

With a 95-91 loss to Phoenix, Toronto has lost six straight. The Raptors completed an 0-5 road trip. The Suns rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit -- the 15th time this season Phoenix came back from a double-digit deficit for a win. DID YOU KNOW?

The L.A. Lakers are 24-9 since Jan. 1. Los Angeles is 9-1 since Mark Madsen replaced Samaki Walker as starting power forward. The Lakers lead the all-time series with the L.A. Clippers, 119-38.

Miami`s 89-82 loss to Washington on Saturday night was its sixth in seven games. The Heat`s only two victories in March have been over Washington and Cleveland. Orlando Magic star Grant Hill had surgery on his left ankle for the fourth time. Doctors are confident he will play again but there is no timetable for his return. The 30-year-old has missed nearly 200 games since signing a $93 million contract with the Magic three years ago.
